IRVING, TEXAS – April 9, 2007 – NEC Corporation of America, an industry leader in network, IT and identity management solutions, today announced the appointment of Jeff Kane to the position of President of the company’s North American voice-over-IP and data communications subsidiary, NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. Kane will succeed Charles Langdon, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

His primary focus will be strengthening the company’s sales strategy and continuing the tradition of seamless support and service to the organization’s diverse enterprise and channel base.

Mr. Kane joined NEC Unified Solutions in 2006 as Senior Vice President of Sales. Previously, he served in a variety of sales and leadership roles with Perot Systems and EDS. He is a 1987 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
